Shifting Hope for a Brighter Future

Wednesday 31 August 2016

Brother and sister: Eid (14) and Reda (12), grew up in a very poor household in Abnobe rural community near Asyut, Upper Egypt. They were pulled out of school before they could learn to read and write leaving them with limited possibilities of accessing decent livelihoods options and making better lives for themselves. They are now enrolled in Youth in Action program and, in this video, they share how the program has shifted their skills and hopes for the future in a bright new direction.
Youth in Action aims to improve the socio-economic status of rural young people in Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Uganda through an experiential combination of education and livelihoods opportunities.
