Level 3:  the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Annual Family Update (AFU) campaign is one of our eligibility checks and child-level data collected; the campaign will be conducted from February 15 th – May 30th. Following the collection of children data, an Annual Status Report (ASR) must be sent to all active sponsors of eligible children utilizing the data collected in the AFU. As such, effective and timely execution of the AFU is critical in both meeting our legal obligation and ensuring sponsor retention. The position holder will be responsible for data entry of children AFU applications in the duration of two/three months. The post holder should be flexible to travel within Abnoub villages 70% of time. 

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Sponsorship Program Operations Field Manager.

Role Dimensions:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

-          Prepare raw data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information and photos.

-          Maintain data base by entering new and updated children information and photos.

-          Maintain data entry requirements by following Sponsorship P&P.

-          Verify, review, correct, delete or reenter data, combine data from different sources when transactions are incomplete.

-          Support photographers in site to produce high quality photos.

-          Secure information by completing database back-up.

-          Maintain SCI values by keeping children and sponsors information confidential.

-          Contribute to team efforts by completing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS 

-          High school graduate

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential :

-          At least one year of data entry experience

-          Very good typing skills

-          Very good computer skills

-          Good English (reading & writing)

-          Good troubleshooting skills
