Empowered Women Empower Women

March 8^th is International Women’s Day, an annual opportunity to acknowledge  women’s achievements and commit to their further empowerment.. This year’s theme is “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights,” bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs, to create a gender-equal world for all women.

Noha* and Nehal* are two women who fled the war in Syria and moved to Egypt in search of safe and stable lives for their families. After joining Save the Children’s programs, they are now leaders and role models within their communities.
