The Opportunity

The post holder will be responsible for implementing the project education interventions and will be responsible for the technical, financial and administrative management of education activities implemented by Save the children (SC) and partner NGOs. The education officer will be responsible for ensuring that the project interventions contribute successfully towards the implementation of the FORSA VIII annual plans. S/he will be responsible for leading and coaching partner NGOs education staff members. S/he, in coordination with MHPSS and Livelihood Officer and under the supervision of the project manager, will be responsible for building the capacity of partner NGOs in a manner that support the sustainability of the project results. 

⦁    Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in education projects (refugees and hosts community) with roles similar to the ones in this job description. 
⦁    Previous experience working with NGO and engaged in their capacity building. 
⦁    Solid planning and organizational skills. 
⦁    Previous budget and fiscal responsibilities.
⦁    Experience working through/with sub grants and partners.
⦁    Solid experience in reviewing, developing, and delivering training in Education.  
⦁    Ability to use English for written and oral communication skills required.
