Case Management Coordinator
The Opportunity
ROLE PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for ensuring that Save the Children Child Protection Case Management process is effectively applied and meets save the children child protection case management standards operating procedures. Besides assisting the Case Management officer in providing on-going support for caseworkers to ensure the overall quality of the case management process.
Projects Scope:
This project aims at providing protection and case management services for children in Greater Cairo and in the North Coast. The project will directly support the children in their protection needs establishing a tailored, timely and integrated case management system in addition to supporting local communities to strengthen the community-based protection mechanisms through the Community Mentorship Program.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
QUALIFICATIONS
• Psychology, Sociology, Development, Political Science, related studies
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in development/humanitarian aid; previous experience in child protection programming is a must.
• Previous experience in child protection case management is a must
• Previous experience in child protection case management is a must.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Excellent drafting, interpersonal, interviewing and communication skills
• Leadership experience at a similar job
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to work with highly vulnerable groups
• Awareness about the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees
• Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually
• This is a field job; candidate must be willing to work in the field effectively including where SCI hubs locate (Mohandseen & Maadi)
• Well organised with strong time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
